Le Jade’s artwork for the night comes from Japan: a fox mask, long-exposure red light and one line in Japanese.
Alter ego
Latin for “the other I”. Cicero used it for a trusted friend, a second self. On Halloween it is the self you choose to show.
Kitsune, the fox mask
In Japanese folklore the kitsune is a fox spirit that can take human form. White fox masks are worn at festivals, and foxes are the messengers of Inari shrines.
仮面を脱ぐ
Kamen o nugu: “to take off the mask” and, figuratively, to show who you really are. It is the line of the night on Le Jade’s flyer.

Halloween in Marbella
Halloween in Marbella 2026 is a whole weekend. On Saturday 31 October, Alter Ego takes over Le Jade, the piano bar inside Nota Blu on the Golden Mile, with the line “shed the mask, let your true self emerge”. On Sunday 1 November, La Plage Casanis in Elviria celebrates Día de Muertos with a DJ set by LIVA K at the season’s last Sunday Sunset Ritual: papel picado, marigolds, La Catrina and the motto canta y no llores, sing and don’t cry.
Tables at Le Jade start at 500€ and beds at La Plage Casanis at 300€ per reservation, at each venue’s rates.
