Casanis Bistrot opened on Calle Ancha in 2003 and set the tone: French-Belgian classics, market produce and rooms that feel like a private house. Chef Fabián Cangas has led the kitchens for two decades. La Plage Casanis followed on Elviria beach, Mamzel brought the dinner show to Finca Besaya, and in 2022 Nota Blu New Brasserie opened on the Golden Mile with the piano club Le Jade — created with The Macallan — hidden inside. Today the group also runs Nota Blu in Madrid and Doha.
