New Year’s Eve Dinner in Madrid 2026 at Nota Blu: Menu, Prices and How to Book

Sep 30, 2026· 5 min read·Nota Blu

Madrid is where Spain counts down to the new year: the chimes the whole country follows on television ring out from the clock of the Real Casa de Correos in Puerta del Sol. For New Year’s Eve 2026, on Thursday 31 December, Nota Blu New Brasserie Madrid, the Casanis Group’s brasserie on Calle de Claudio Coello, has published a gala dinner menu that ends with the twelve grapes. The Vault Marbella Club books it by WhatsApp. Here is the full menu, the price and the practical details.

Nota Blu Madrid in a nutshell

Nota Blu began on Marbella’s Golden Mile in 2022 and has since opened in Doha and in Madrid, where it arrived in November 2025. The Madrid brasserie is at Calle de Claudio Coello 10, in the Salamanca district, a short walk from Puerta de Alcalá and the Retiro. It keeps the formula of the original: French cooking with a Mediterranean accent, a lounge soundtrack and a room designed for long dinners.

The New Year’s Eve 2026 menu

Madrid serves the same gala dinner as Nota Blu Marbella:

  • Appetizers: lobster cappuccino; savoury pastry filled with foie gras; wagyu and caviar focaccia; red shrimp tartare and caviar tartlet.
  • Starter: white roast beef with pickles.
  • Mains: Chilean sea bass with yuzu meunière sauce; Bresse chicken with truffles.
  • Dessert: three-chocolate cake.
  • Drinks: half a bottle of Ruinart per guest, plus water, soft drinks, beer and coffee.
  • At midnight: the twelve lucky grapes and cotillón.

The dishes explained

A few names on the menu deserve a note. The lobster cappuccino is usually a lobster bisque topped with a light foam, a warm first sip before the appetizers. Wagyu is the Japanese breed prized for its marbling, served here on focaccia with caviar. Chilean sea bass is the trade name of the Patagonian toothfish, a deep-water fish with firm, buttery white flesh, finished with a meunière (brown butter) sauce lifted with yuzu, an aromatic Japanese citrus. Bresse chicken comes from the Bresse region of eastern France and has its own protected designation of origin; it is served with truffles. The three-chocolate cake traditionally layers dark, milk and white chocolate.

Price and Champagne upgrades

The menu costs 400€ per person, VAT included. Two upgrades replace the Ruinart with Dom Pérignon:

Option Per person
Menu with half a bottle of Ruinart 400€
Dom Pérignon upgrade (+165€) 565€
Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé upgrade (+250€) 650€

The upgrades are priced per person; tell us when you book which option your table wants.

Madrid or Marbella?

The same menu costs 625€ at Nota Blu Marbella, where the midnight celebration also includes live music. If you are spending the holidays on the Costa del Sol, see our New Year’s Eve dinner guide for Marbella, which also covers Casanis Bistrot (275€) in the Old Town. All three menus are side by side on the New Year’s Eve menus 2026 page.

The twelve grapes, Madrid style

At midnight Spain eats one grape for each of the twelve chimes of the Puerta del Sol clock, broadcast live on national television. Watch out for the cuartos, the quicker quarter chimes that ring first: the grapes start with the first of the twelve slower strokes that follow. At Nota Blu the grapes are part of the menu, followed by the cotillón. For the history of the tradition and the other rituals Spaniards swear by, read our guide to the twelve grapes.

After dinner

Madrid stays up late on New Year’s Eve: many bars and clubs keep going until dawn, and a classic way to end the night is chocolate con churros on the morning of 1 January. The restaurant confirms the dinner’s seating time when you book.

How to book

Choose your menu on the Nota Blu Madrid New Year’s Eve page and send us a WhatsApp with the number of guests and any dietary requirements. We confirm the table and seating time directly with the restaurant. Tables on 31 December are limited, so it is worth writing early.
